St Mary's Careers Service will hold the following events in the forthcoming weeks:
Simulated Assessment Day
The Careers and Employability Service in conjunction with the Graduate Skills Enhancement Centre will hold a "Simulated Assessment Day" on Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 February 2009.
Gems Recruitment Service are coming along to assist in this event. Candidates will have applied for a fictitious Graduate Post in the Northern Ireland Civil Service. Applicants will be shortlisted and the successful candidates will be invited to attend the Assessment Centre. The exercises will last all of Monday and will consist of:
- Psychometric Tests
- Role Play Scenarios and
- Formal Interviews.
At the end of Monday a candidate will be appointed to the post.
On Tuesday all candidates will receive individual and group feedback on their performance in Monday's activities. The event will run on Monday from 8.45am until 5.30pm and on Tuesday from 9.00am until 12.30pm.
Teacher Recruitment Fair
A Teacher Recruitment Fair will be held in the College Assembly Hall on Thursday 5 February 2009 from 10.30am until 1.00pm. A large number of organisations will attend the Recruitment Fair, details of which can be obtained from the Careers and Employability Service.
