Members of the African community in Belfast gathered for the launch of a new edited reader by Dr Gerard McCann from St Mary's and Mr Chrispin Matenga from the University of Zambia.
The book, entitled Issues in Economic Development in Sub-Saharan Africa, has contributions from both institutions, Queen's University Belfast and the Centre for Global Education. It will be used as a text book by university departments in Africa.
