Alumni of St Mary'sFrank Mitchell from UTV was the special guest at the launch of an Alumni Association at St Mary's University College. Graduate teachers, Liberal Arts graduates and former members of staff going back to the 1960s attended the event.
Frank Mitchell studied for a BEd degree at 'The Ranch' in the early 1980s and spoke of his fond memories whilst a student at the College. Frank was a member of a winning Ryan Cup team playing alongside the likes of Eddie McToal, Mickey Darragh and the great Colm McAlarney.
The College Principal, Professor Peter Finn, spoke at the event on the theme of relationships and encouraged new members to join the Alumni Association.
