Recent success has been achieved in the publication of research output:

Hickey, I. and Robson, D. (2013)  The Leonardo Effect: motivating children to achieve through interdisciplinary learning, Abingdon, Oxon, Routledge.

The book was reviewed by Robert Watts, University of Roehampton, in issue 7 of the National Society for Education in Art and Design magazine (NSEAD).

He writes: “Inspired by Leonardo, and drawing on the results of research in nineteen schools in England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, authors Deirdre Robson and Ivor Hickey have formulated a convincing argument for the value of interdisciplinary learning in primary schools."

Further details of the book are available on the Routledge website.

Collins, P. (2013)  British Labour and Developments in the Immediate Post-War Years.

This paper was presented at the conference The British Labour Party and Twentieth-Century Ireland, held at the Moore Institute, National University of Ireland, Galway, from 8-9 March 2013.
