Working alongside delivery partners Fáilte Feirste Thiar and FXL Ireland, with the support of St Mary’s, Féile is playing a leading role in driving up the standard of customer service and excellence in the west of the city of Belfast. WorldHost is an internationally renowned customer service training service, and Féile is working with key stakeholders to ensure both locals and visitors alike experience a fantastic welcome and atmosphere at all Féile events and venues. It is hoped that their experiences will encourage people to visit West Belfast and, importantly, bring their family and friends to spend time and money in the west of the city.
Kevin Gamble, Director of Féile an Phobail, stressed the importance of today’s event:
“Féile is working alongside Fáilte Feirste Thiar and FXL Ireland to ensure that when people come into west Belfast, regardless of where they visit or where they spend their money, they receive a fantastic welcome and an exemplary customer service experience which will ultimately encourage them to come back. Venues like St Mary’s University College, where we are launching this programme today, play a key role in community life, and the Féile in West Belfast, not only on a local level but importantly at an international level, is renowned for providing this type of experience. Indeed, St Mary’s have further committed to supporting this drive for excellence by signing up to WorldHost training, and we are delighted that the team at St Mary’s are supporting this endeavour."
