On Tuesday, 18 November Ms Ruth Foster, Head of Computing at The Wallace High School in Lisburn, gave a talk and presentation to the BEd 3 and BEd 4 students of Technology and Design. Ms Foster’s presentation was on the educational advantages that may be gained by pupils by the use of both drone technology and LEGO robotics within teaching. The presentation was thoroughly enjoyed by all present, and the students are now keen to incorporate some of Ruth’s ideas into their own teaching.
