Lectures on the topics of border movement and historic experience were interspersed with visits to economy-related and globally important international sites. Visits included Auschwitz, Lancut Castle and the Polish Glass Heritage Factory. There were specialist workshops for the fourteen students involved and ongoing networking within an international learning environment. The core themes of the programme were pertinent to the whole issue of employability within an internationalising context. The students were awarded a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course.
The programme included five universities, four countries, four currencies, four borders, four languages, four cities and was organised with the help of international students in three universities.

• Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa w Krośnie, Southern Poland
• University of Kosice, Slovakia
• University of Eger, Hungary

The programme was coordinated by Dr Gerard McCann (International Studies at St Mary’s, Belfast). Administrative assistance for such a complex international programme was provided by Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa w Krośnie.
