St Mary’s University College returned to winning ways in the Higher Education League Division 1 with a comprehensive victory over Dundalk IT at the Davitt’s GAC complex in West Belfast.

The Ranch was assisted by the return of some key players from club duty in recent weeks and this “made all the difference” according to team manager Gavin McGilly. Gavin went on to say that “things are now moving in the right direction”, after the victory over Oisin McConville’s Dundalk team. The Ranch goals came from Cormac Murphy (2), Cian McConville, Gareth McKibben and Conal Burns.

Gaelic games at St Mary’s are now firmly established at the Davitt’s complex in a partnership agreement which covers football (men and women), hurling and camogie as well as mutually beneficial reciprocal arrangements.
