Some seventy College students, including twenty Erasmus visitors, were evacuated from Bostock House on Monday 7 November following a fire on the top floor of the residential block.
The students were supported by Mr Paul Anthony, Mrs Briege Ellis and Mrs Anne O'Neill at the time of the evacuation. Mr Michael Martin coordinated the College's response to the students' plight and has remained in touch with the authorities at Bostock House.
Thankfully the Fire and Rescue Service brought the fire under control quickly and there were no injuries.
