St Mary's was the venue for an interactive conference on tourism which was held on Thursday, 6 April 2023.
The 'International Peace Tourism Conference celebrating 25 years of The Good Friday Agreement' was hosted by local organisations Fáilte Feirste Thiar and Féile an Phobail.
Keynote speakers at the conference were:

• Timothy Marshall, Chair of International Institute for Peace Tourism
• Ms Anita Mendiratta, President, Anita Mendiratta & Associates
• Niall Gibbons, CEO Tourism Ireland
• Christopher Brooke, Chairperson Tourism Ireland.
