Library becomes wireless zone

21 June 2006

The college now has 20 Wi-fi enabled laptops, which have been bought for students to use in the Library.

As there were many requests for more computers in the Library in the replies to this year's student survey, it is hoped that this will relieve the pressure on both computers and students in the future.

A wireless network has been installed in the Library so that the laptops can be used to access the internet, connect to the college network and network printers, and perform all of the functions of the other open access computers in the college.
