Simulated Assessment

18 December 2006

It is coming near to the time when the St Mary's University College Liberal Arts final year undergraduates will be applying for jobs and, needless to say, many of them will have aspirations towards obtaining employment at graduate entry level.

The Careers office and AoN (Application of Number) centre have organised a simulated assessment day, the purposes of which will be to allow our undergraduates to gain experience of what a real-life graduate recruitment interview/assessment process entails.

This assessment day has been endorsed by Business in The Community (BITC).

The selection panel will be headed up by Mr Steven Costello MBE, former Chief Executive of Marks and Spencer (NI), present Chairman of the Northern Ireland Consumer Council and Chairman of the Board of Governors of Stranmillis University College.

Mr Steven Costello
