Bishop Noel Treanor, Chair of the governing body at St Mary’s University College, invites us to read a Pastoral Letter which addresses the social meaning of the Gospel.
The Pastoral Letter was written with particular reference to New Year’s Day 2015, which also is Feast of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, and World Day of Peace. However, its content is relevant to every day of our lives, for, as Bishop Noel says on page 3:
“As Christians we carry a responsibility for the quality of life in our world.”
The Pastoral Letter is an excellent resource for those involved in all levels of education.
