St Mary's Students in USA

 

Three students from St Mary's enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon when they attended their Study USA (SUSA) graduation event on Friday, 28 October. The event took place in the Barnett Room of the Belfast Harbour Commissioner's Office with United States Consul General, Daniel Lawton, in attendance.

Three students from St Mary’s enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon when they attended their Study USA (SUSA) graduation event on Friday, 28 October. The event took place in the Barnett Room of the Belfast Harbour Commissioner's Office with United States Consul General, Daniel Lawton, in attendance.  

The organisers commended the success of all involved in the programme and noted how beneficial the experience was for all the recipients of the SUSA certificate.

Conor McGouran (BEd Business Studies) spent a year at Jamestown College, North Dakota. Gary Dunlop (BA Liberal Arts with History) undertook a year of study in Tusculum College, Tennessee while Noel Bradley-Johnston (BEd Mathematics) attended Carlow University, Pennsylvania.
