The Community of governors, staff and students, as well as our wider circle of alumni and friends, is deeply saddened by the tragic news of the untimely and sudden death of the Queen’s University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Johnston.
We offer our deepest condolences to Paddy’s family, friends and colleagues at the University.
St Mary’s graduate and now Head of Community Engagement at Queen’s, Ryan Feeney, described the Vice-Chancellor as
“a visionary and a great leader who had limitless generosity”.
