The West Belfast Partnership Board, supported by the Department of Education and St Mary’s University College, is excited to announce the fourth annual Summer Transition School for pupils transferring from primary school to post-primary education in August or September 2017.
Each year more than 200 students take part in the Summer Transition School, designed to help smooth the transition from primary to post-primary education. The School also encourages learning with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and STEM subjects through ICT, by making it a fun experience, with activities and trips included.
The Summer Transition School will be delivered by fully qualified local teachers along with students and support staff from St Mary’s University College and is open to all children from the West Belfast constituency areas who are starting their first post-primary year in August or September 2017.

When: Monday, 14th August, to Friday, 18th August
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
