The Northern Ireland Commission for Children and Young People (NICCY) launched its report, “Still Waiting”, at St Mary’s University College on Thursday, 27 September 2018.
The report is a rights-based review of mental health services and support for children and young people in Northern Ireland. It was presented by Koulla Yiasouma from the Children’s Commission for Northern Ireland, and the views of young people are prominent in this report.
The Commissioner argued that young people today are no less resilient than in the past, but the challenges of modern society are much greater.
