Outstanding In-Service provision for teachers at St Mary’s

Having ranked first in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2019, the Master of Education degree programme at St Mary’s University College goes from strength to strength. This autumn, in addition to online modules, many of our M-level students enjoyed a range of courses taught over three consecutive Saturdays in October. The courses included modules from Leadership for Learning, Pastoral Issues, and Digital Education. Participants’ feedback was positive. Students welcomed the flexible approach St Mary’s provides to professional learning. They commented on how much easier they found it to undertake accredited study over a series of Saturdays, as well as during the summer school week in July.

Outside of the classroom there was time to enjoy the lovely autumn weather and to catch up with friends over coffee (or, for some, the World Cup rugby score).
For more information about our range of masters modules, please see the St Mary’s M-Level Prospectus, available on the College’s website, or contact Donna Hazzard, the Programme Director.
